Travel with OSF to the Canary Islands, a place of geologic splendor, rich history, and great cultural charm. With dark starry skies above and tremendous biodiversity below, the Canaries invite us to relax and wonder. Our journey takes us to the island of Madeira with its UNESCO-reserve forests, and we’ll sample Lisbon’s big-city fun, too.
Director of Literary Development and Dramaturgy, Dr. Lue Douthit; actors Gina Daniels, Ted Deasy, Miriam Laube and Rex Young; and the OSF community will convene aboard Cunard Line’s Queen Mary 2 on a 12-day experiential learning trip. We’ll study, discuss, exchange, meet, experience, share, and … relax!

Come along with OSF and explore the Canary Islands’ beautiful vistas and UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves with friends. Sample local foods and wine with your special someone. Cruise prices vary from $1,998 for an Interior Stateroom to 8,498 for a Queens Suite, per person (pp) based on double occupancy. For those attending our PROGRAM, there is a $1,575 fee. Insight Cruises occasionally charges more than Cunard for the same cabin category because our cruise pricing includes several parties, meeting room space, plus a pair of Tour Leaders traveling with the group. Therefore, if you ask us to match a price you see on the Cunard.com website we will do so but we add a $150 pp Facility Fee.
