Baggage Allowance
Almost all the island’s food and supplies are flown on commercial flights like you will be taking. This creates a great demand for space in the baggage holds. The airlines therefore restrict the amount of luggage passengers may bring to ONE PIECE weighing no more than 44 lbs (20kg). Excess baggage is subject to a heavy tariff. This restriction is not as bad as it sounds, as you do not need many things in the island. If you have a special need and know that you will exceed the baggage limit we need to make arrangements in advance to assure that your luggage travels with you. Our hotels in Chile have storerooms available where guests can store additional luggage or shopping purchases. This service is free of charge if you are staying in a hotel you booked with us.
